If you’re passionate about film, currently or previously studying film or a related subject, and aged between 18 and 25, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Individuals with a strong interest in film<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Students or graduates of film <\/strong>or related subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Enthusiastic and motivated individuals aged 18-25<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Must live local to Swindon <\/strong>and be able to meet with other young programmers at least once a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Creative minds eager to gain experience in film programming, curating, marketing, and journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regular Sessions:<\/strong> Meet every fortnight with fellow young programmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Community Collaboration:<\/strong> Work together year-round to organize events and screenings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hands-On Experience:<\/strong> Assist in curating the Sofa Screenings film programme, focusing on indie, British, and classic films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Exclusive Takeovers:<\/strong> Host screenings at Sofa Screenings, showcasing films of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Free Tickets:<\/strong> Enjoy complimentary tickets to the events you help organize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Volunteer Opportunities:<\/strong> Get involved at every stage of the screenings and watch films for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Event Curation:<\/strong> Curate talks and events around selected films and manage budgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Marketing Involvement:<\/strong> Participate in the marketing of films and events to boost engagement among young audiences (ages 16-25).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Diverse Programming:<\/strong> Help develop a cinema programme that represents our diverse world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Writing Opportunities:<\/strong> Write blogs and articles related to the films and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\nProgram Highlights:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
